Breaking the Cycle of Deviance at Work

David Zweig

About This Project

Bad behaviour creates more bad behaviour – in essence, deviance begets deviance. Often, workplace actions that are designed to control bad behaviour end up creating more bad behaviour in response. David Zweig is also going to discuss how we can break these cycles of deviance at work and can create new cycles of behaviour, ones that can make the workplace better for everyone.

David Zweig is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and the Chair of the Department of Management at UTSC. He studies the dark side of the behaviours at work and how essentially, bad behaviour creates more bad behaviour.
